Little Eden provides a great opportunity for college-age youth to spend a summer in beautiful northwest Michigan serving Christ by serving others. Staff will learn life-time leadership skills, experience living in Christian community, and be challenged to grow in their Christian walk while enjoying the benefits of one of the top tourist destinations in the U.S. With the beaches at camp and Lake Michigan only 2 miles away, Little Eden is a "vacation paradise!"
Little Eden is a Christian camp affiliated with the Mennonite Church that seeks to employ college age youth for the summer months who have a desire to serve Christ and grow in their relationship to Him. Staff will be expected to model the teachings of Christ at all times - whether on duty or off.
Staff orientation for the summer of 2023 begins Sunday, June 4. There are opportunities for some to begin work at camp as early as May and stay as late as September 15. While staff are serious about their relationship with Christ and serving Him at Little Eden, they also make a lot of great memories together.
What do past summer staff say about serving at Little Eden?
"Although I have been a camper my whole life, being on staff last summer gave me a new appreciation for everything that goes on behind the scenes at Little Eden. I loved getting to be a part of all the hard work that goes into making Little Eden what it is."
"I absolutely loved my summer on staff! And it really helped me to grow relationships with some of the staff I already knew and gave me the opportunity to get to know some new people and grow relationships with them. I have gained some lifelong friendships with some of the people I worked with on staff and am so grateful for those relationships....Working on staff also helped me to grow my relationship with Christ."
"I have enjoyed being on staff immensely as it has given me a chance to give back to the camp that has done so much for me, my family and my faith. I look forward each year to head back to camp to see old faces, make new friends and experience that 'God sensation' I only ever feel at camp."
