WHAT:
An opportunity for college-age youth to spend a summer in beautiful northwest Michigan serving Christ by serving others. Staff will learn life-time leadership skills, experience living in Christian community, and be challenged to grow in their Christian walk while enjoying the benefits of one of the top tourist destinations in the U.S.
WHERE:
Little Eden Camp is located near Onekama, Michigan and situated on the shores of Portage Lake. With the beaches of Lake Michigan only 2 miles away, Little Eden is a "vacation paradise!" Local attractions include: Sleeping Bear National Seashore - voted the most beautiful place in the United States by Good Morning America; outstanding golf courses; local fruit orchards supplying fresh fruit all summer long; and some of the best biking, hiking, canoeing and kayaking opportunities in the Midwest.
WHEN:
Staff orientation for the summer of 2013 begins Sunday evening, June 2. Priority in hiring will be given to those applicants who can stay through August 17 or beyond. There may be an opportunity to begin work at camp prior to June 2 for a limited number of staff.
WHO:
Little Eden is a Christian camp affiliated with the Mennonite Church that seeks to employ college age youth for the summer months who have a desire to serve Christ and grow in their relationship to Him. Staff will be expected to model the teachings of Christ at all times - whether on duty or off.

REMUNERATION:
Little Eden expects all staff members to work six days a week, 7 to 8 hours a day (all staff will have one day off each week) and will be paid $110 per week, plus room and board. Staff members will also have an opportunity to participate in our College Scholarship Fund where they can earn up to 125% of their total summer salary depending on the number of days worked during the summer. Staff enjoy modern, comfortable housing that includes laundry facilities, a staff community room, and wireless internet access.
